IPL 2021 schedule

When does cricket action begin, you ask? The IPL 2021 season is expected to return to its normal stage, in April – May, following a COVID-19 induced delay last year that pushed the 2020 IPL season to an early September. On top of this, the BCCI is confident that the IPL 2021 will take place in India, unlike the UAE, where it was held last year.

Mumbai Indians will enter the 2021 IPL season as two-time defending champions. IPL 2021 was initially scheduled to go to 10 teams again, but in the wake of the epidemic, BCCI opted for a delay for the 2022 IPL season.
